Custom Sock Design Guide
Tips for designing socks that knit well: color placement, logo sizing, knit-in versus print, and artwork prep.
Design For Knit Construction
Sock graphics should be designed for knitting, not just for presentation. Wide blocks of color, clear logo shapes and controlled pattern density usually produce the cleanest result. If the design is too detailed, the final knit can look muddy or distort around the leg.
Choose The Right Logo Method
Knit-in logos are the most durable and feel the most integrated. Embroidery gives texture and a premium touch. Printing is best when the design needs fine detail or photo-like color. The right method depends on the style, the price point and how much visible branding surface the sock has.
